Geopark Events

Our 2020 programme of events for the Marble Arch Caves UNESCO Global Geopark is ready for your enjoyment!

It is intended to embrace the ethos of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) in hosting events within the Geopark area which reflect the rich natural and cultural heritage of the border regions of counties Fermanagh and Cavan. The programme is designed to cater for all interests and abilities; from family fun days, heritage and geology talks to walking and caving events. There is a range of activities for all those interested to learn more about their Geopark or to visit what this unspoiled region has to offer.

At all our sites we promote the Leave No Trace Principles as well as the Geopark Code.

PLEASE NOTE: All Geopark events in Fermanagh are cancelled up until 31 August 2020. We will continue to monitor and review the situation regarding COVID-19 and communicate any changes as they arise. We wish to thank you all for your patience and understanding at this unprecedented time and apologise for any inconvenience.
