Discover the abundant varieties of wildlife and habitats with local expert and Geopark Guide Heather Bothwell via land and water during this two-hour workshop. Located in a Special Area of Conservation and part of the wider Marble Arch Caves UNESCO Global Geopark, this woodland trail brings participants along the shores of Lough Oughter where they can enjoy stunning views and watch the vast array of birds and wildlife in their natural habitat. Species include heron, mallard duck, whooper swan and cygnets, otters, badgers, and pine martens.
Participants will explore Inishmore Woods before donning a canoe and exploring the waterways. Please wear sturdy footwear and warm waterproof clothing.
